Spiritual Life is a quarterly journal of contemporary spirituality that is published by the Discalced Carmelite Friars of the Washington Province. Spiritual Life contains articles that deal with various aspects of Christian Spirituality and their application to everyday life. Carmelite spirituality is also featured, examining the meaning of the lives and writings of St. John of the Cross, St. Teresa of Avila, St. Therese of Lisieux, Blessed Elizabeth of the Trinity, and St. Edith Stein.
There are book reviews and a books & media section that highlight books and media that would be helpful to our readers on their Journey to God. Often there is a listing of Spirituality Resources--retreats, workshops, study programs-- some following the Carmelite theme or another spiritual tradition.
